I just got called to Primary! I'll be teaching the 5-6 year olds, so I'm pretty excited about that. I love that age! I thought it would be fun to start notebooks for/with the kids. Something full of activities they can take home at the end of the year. Lots of little hand outs get lost, but if they know they'll get a notebook full of activities at the end of the year, they might enjoy working on that a little more... we'll see! :) They might still have something to take home each week, but also something for their notebooks.

The Commandments Help Us Choose the Right. I love the Gospel Standards on the back of the
Faith in God booklets - they go along nicely with keeping the commandments. I know these kids are only 5-6, but I thought we'd go over them a little bit and they could color the pictures. The kids who want to can trace the letter or just color in the hollow letters. But because this booklet is quite extensive for 5-6 year olds, we might work on only 1-2 pages a week for awhile. I'll play that one by ear.
